Statement files

Statement conversion runs locally in your browser. Finparses does not upload the selected statement to a Finparses file-processing server. The browser temporarily reads the file in memory so it can display transactions and create a download. Close the page when finished, especially on a shared device.

This tool currently supports CSV, OFX, QFX, QIF, and selectable-text PDF files. Scanned PDFs, unusual layouts, and password-protected documents may not convert. Review exported records against the source statement.

Website data and storage

The site may store your chosen color theme in local browser storage so the setting persists on that device. It does not store the contents of your statements there. We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-JKKT4HMZLB) to measure website visits and usage. Google may process technical and usage information, such as page views, device and browser details, and approximate location, and may use cookies or similar technologies. Statement contents are processed locally and are not sent to Google Analytics by the converter. You can limit or clear cookies in your browser settings.

Contact and your choices

If you email us, we receive the contact details and message you choose to provide. Do not email account credentials or unredacted bank statements. You can remove the saved theme preference through your browser settings. For a privacy question, contact [email protected].
